These two days something about exporting to outside from Dokuwiki takes almost all my time. And it is important to record as well as resolve all the problems.

The plugin is dw2pdf, it could be installed in Extension Manager.
But the installation is not “one key to resolve” – some errors occur.
Firstly the size of package to download is too bigger than the php-5 supported, you may need to update the php to php-7 or newer.

sudo apt-get install php7.0-gd

Secondly, change the download timeout
Normally it will be success.

But if there are still errors, you may need to try a offline installation.
I try to download the tar package from link, however it always be failed, several times.
Without any other ways, I use git clone from the github by:

git clone https://github.com/splitbrain/dokuwiki-plugin-dw2pdf.git

Then move the <new_directory> to the “<wiki_path>\lib\plugins\”, and change name to “dw2pdf”

The plugin is installed now.

By default, the [export to pdf] button is appearant in the tools bar. Click it and the pdf will be export automatically.

This installation is very easy, search in Extension Manager and install.
And it will export the odt files successfully by the buttom [ODT export]

But the odt file is not the output needed, the doc file is.

Some methods I had try, but it doesn't work.

Be aware that the libreoffice need jave runtime environment

sudo apt-get install default-jre libreoffice-java-common libreoffice-common

Besides, confirm the libreoffice command is ready.
Find a odt file and check with command:

libreoffice --headless --convert-to doc --outdir output_path/ *.odt

It is OK if there is a output_file in output_path and it can be read correctly.
